i haven't been to the movies in for.ev.errrrr
& typically only go when it's a movie i REALLY want to see.
so, tonite, to Monaco Cinemas @ Bridge Street i went to check out "For Colored Girls".
Tyler Perry ALWAYS brings it...
and this movie was no different....so many emotions. beautiful poetic.
EXTREMELY powerful. i still have chills...
the cast in this movie is just top-notch and brought so much life to the characters.

I didn't get to go-even though I knowing opening weekend is a big deal..hope to get to go sometime next week-I've heard from friends today that it was GREAT! Even from folks who don't particularly do Tyler Perry.

The movie was absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Many times I gasped from the poetry and how it was still like a play but yet was a movie! Tyler hit out of the ballpark on this one!
