ScrapNspire "Top 10" Inspiring Songs

music inspires me on so many levels.
i don't really have a style/type of music that i prefer
because i listen to all types...
diversity is key
to my soul, my creativity, my life.

i hope here on ScrapNspire
you find music you can
groove to (get up & dance if you want), relax, chill, reflect...
for all moods.
in starting my blog over a year ago, i debated on having the music or not
but after thought it really is a big part of my inspiration
that i want to share with my fans & followers of my work.
if you don't like it, you can always mute it. :)

these "top 10" on my list
not necessarily all released in 2010
but are a few of the "top 10" songs that
inspired me in 2010...

enjoy.

{note:  mute tunes at bottom of blog to listen up}

HAPPY HAPPY NEW YEARS EVE!!!!

Wednesday, December 29, 2010

Inspiration Wednesday.

i've been on a whirlwind of projects lately,
rolling out of one & into another,
lots of designing it up for deadlines,
plus a BIG CHA assignment i found out about this week
(the list almost blew my socks off but it's gonna' be sensationallllllll)
i'm SUPER pumped to get rolling with...
crossing fingers that my creative kick keeps on a roll because i'm gonna need it!

(for those who are saying "What is CHA?")
it's basically a scrapbooker's paradiseeeeeeeee of star-studded talent PACKED into
a few days of the loveliest eye candy,
tired feet {because you want to see as much of the show as possible},
drooling over the latest & greatest, bucket loads of inspiration...
but
good thing it's only only for retailers because
i.would.go.broke.
but the Winter Show is typically the biggest one of the year
& you can check it out here
(it's happening in Los Angeles 1/29/2011 - 2/1/2011)
basically January is a time of intense deadlines from manufacturers, designers with lotssss of tape on their lips because to reveal would mean death (wink wink),
but allllll worth it in the end + it only happens twice a year (Winter & Summer)
+ reading over on Tim Holtz' blog this week
i became even more excited that he said {and i quote}...
"i have to say that CHA-2011 is going to be my biggest show yet!  so many exciting new things coming in the new year.  i do hope you take the time to be creative if even for a moment - remember those moments can add up to inspiring creations..."
my jaw dropped to the floor
because he already has some killer stuff & him saying this, i'm thinking
we all best get.readyyyyyy. because he ALWAYS
brings it with the most amazing product!!

anyhoo, one BIG deadline i finished up this week
(well, i have an article to write as the last touch)
but projects are DONEEEEEEE
it's almost time for the
reveal of the
premiere issue of Scraps of Color Magazine
i'm very very excited to be a E:spire Design Team Member
we are representing diversity in scrapbooking and this issue is going to deliver it!
i had a fun blog post yesterday over on the SOC blog you can
check out here
by the way, have you signed up for the free subscription?

What do you REALLY want for Christmas...??

Are some of you scratching your heads for a last minute
Xmas present??
OR
Maybe Santa has asked you what you REALLY want
and you still have yet to give an answer??
Don't make him & his reindeer wait any longer... *hehehe*

Tell your peeps what you REALLY want for Christmas...

...A full weekend of inspiration, indulgence, creativity and loads of amazing projects, products, goodies and surprises at every turn!
Whether you've been naughty or nice you deserve to TREAT yourself to the ultimate scrapbook indulgence and MemoryWorks (and Santa) delivers with the MemoryWorks 2011 Scrapbook Retreat!

In years past MemoryWorks has put on scrapbooking retreats to die for!
Once again they're pulling out all the stops for the 2011 Retreat with 10 inspiring classes from the top scrapbooking companies in the world; plus 3 fun-filled crops, an incredible Creative Studio event, an amazing on-site store with out-of-this-world prices and all of the goodies, products and surprises your luggage can hold all -  packed into three action packed, inspirational days!

Just hear what attendees have said about our MemoryWorks retreats:
"The MemoryWorks Retreat went well beyond my expectations and entered into the realm of fairytales! The many indulgences were found through every door. Thank you MemoryWorks run for this most memorable scrapbook experience!"
Danielle Galindo
San Jose, CA

"Loved it!!! I've attended three CKU's in the past, and MemoryWorks Retreat blows them out of the water! More quality goodies I want to use, more quality classes and projects I will use, and the people were outstanding. Everyone was friendly - not competitive - and the home office staff became like family! I loved that it was a setting where I could interact with the sponsors and instructors and make new friends, too! So cool! Can't wait until the next one!"
Sarah Crawford
Newcastle, CA

"After attending an earlier CKU, I had always wanted to do another retreat with friends. This turned out to be just the ticket! Not having to compromise on choices for classes since we got to take them all! The class sponsors were generous, but MemoryWorks topped them all! Beyond what goodies they gave us, their staff was courteous, friendly, and helpful - and even when they were overwhelmed they kept their sense of humor! What a great bunch of people!"
Janet Henry
Salem, CO

"MemoryWorks sure knows how to put the "treat" in reTREAT! This was my first scrapbooking retreat and I left with Loads of free products, completed projects and goodies!"
Shannon Johnson
Las Vegas, NV

"This was my first time visiting Utah and my first experience with MemoryWorks; I couldn't have felt more welcome! What a great group of people and what a lot of time, energy, and love you put into it! This was my first Retreat, I chose it over another large major scrapbook event, and I would do it all over again! Wow, GREAT event, GREAT experience. THANK YOU!"
Susan McFadden
Mesa, AZ
