i relinquished to my wish list

and purchased this sweet treat for myself today...

iPAD.

i mainly wanted it for the GPS feature.

i love this feature on my iPhone but even better in this large version since i'm on the road traveling a lot for work, but ok, it has SO MANY MORE perks too. :)

and either i'm a great saleslady or a sweet person or have cool personality...

i hope for all 3...
because i met a sweet lady in the store today when i was spinning & debating in my mind to go ahead & splurge....well, the price was right.

she & i chatted for quite some time because she admitted to being naive to the iPad (and computers in general) but

TRULY wanted one, well...long story short, after a nice chat, we both walked to the counter with one,

exchanged emails, and each made a new friend.
