My Happy Comforts.

We are FINALLY starting to feel 

a lil' bit of fall coming 

to the Gulf and with a bit of 

fall-ish chill in the air in the evenings...

but we still have early summer temps

on the radar during the day

and 

LOTS of sunshine

(and sweet home Alabama where the skies are so blue...)

So, how about some happy comforts

inspiring me these days?

My happy home...

fall in the air with changing the decor a bit with

brown, burgundy, green, yellow...

and I have a new sofa for my balcony patio

(not in the pic below)

that has a mustard yellow cushion from

Pier 1 Imports (major store crush).

and 

changing out the bed decor.

I love LOTS of pillow layered on my bed, 

so going to add just a few more...

just on the lookout for some that 

are in the colors and style I'm going for.

and I dried the flowers "the love" sent me

after our 5 months together in April

and used them here as decor in an oblong

basket along with the seashells 

he picked up for me while we were together in

Italy in April....great way to save keepsakes.

but in love with glittery layering tanks

and fun & happy sweaters.

on my trend alert these days too.

BIG love for New York.

Been 5 times and just discover something new

each time...last trip was Nov 2011.

Found this wall art for $20 and made its

way to my hallway.

Gym time on the weekends!

and well, similar to 

the Olympic 2012 yellow Nike kicks

either just make me feel I run faster on air

(seriously, the lightest weight shoe)

OR 

maybe because they get lots of compliments!

"the love" will be coming hereeeee to 

USAAAA from Austria

on Nov 2nd for about 10 days.

(it is his turn this time, 

not that I keep a checklist)

We've been together 10 months now

and are just a lil' bit giddy 

and counting down, 13 days....because it's 

been since April since we saw each other.

So, this girl will be taking some

much needed time off from work, VACATIONNNN...

(AND he already made me pledge 

no work Blackberry, computer, blah blah...)

but

he's a rather big deal and a 'lil handsome.

but most importantly, 

he truly has a sincere heart 

above & beyond...
