Time to "Smash" New York.

I've taken an mini break from my art studio
to re-charge my batteries..and now it's time to 
"Smash" New York with my latest 

just.for.fun. project...

I've yet to share pics from my Nov 2011 

11-day trip to New York

 and it was one a.ma.zing. trip!

Broadway. Cupcakes. Central Park. SOHO. the Met. MOMA.

good food....life was so good those 11 days.

I've been to NYC about 3 times before

but this trip pretty much put the "icing on the cupcake"

[quite literal on that note]

yep, I hit up Crumbs AND Magnolia Bakery!

When in NYC, you MUSTMUSTMUST put these on your "bucket list"!!
At peak times of the day, there is a long line/queue 
at the Magnolia (because yes, it is THAT yummy)!!

Seriously sinful indulgence & you have been warned! :)

Oh so worth it after walking a bazillion miles.

So, this project is sitting on my desk as a 

work.in.progress. and one of those "escape to" projects. 

I have a TON of pics here & there around the city.

So, Smash books begging for some attention.

Hmmm...which one to start in first?

I'm going to take a different spin on my Smash books...

gonna' be interesting...you'll see (wink wink).

AND 

I have a SUPER SUPER SUPER exciting 

random, spur of the moment

"mini" vacation for a week+

planned the end of next month overseas to a 

couple of countries I've been to 

BUT 

in a couple of cities I've yet to see...ahhhhh

It will feel good to be back in Europe & explore...

Spring is definitely in the air

[where I live even most of these days feel like summer already]

in the South, you just roll along with the humidity...

Feeling new changes, fresh vibes, new clothes, and lately 

I'm crushing to change my iPhone cover from my current

Jonathan Adler one to a lil' bit of something different.

So, I stumbled upon this awesome website, Society 6, 

with some pretty cool, not cheapy looking,

and the price point is not too bad either.

Hello {Summer} Sunday

Seriously, not ready for the time change

for clocks to SPRING FORWARD an hour this a.m.

{because this girl will lose an hour sleepppp}

but hey, extra daylight is pretty nice too!

Lovin' the weather these days where I live

which is feeling super sweet + lots of spring/summer sun!

Yesterday, was just an incredibleeeeee summer day!

{ok, I'm gonna try NOT to jinx it hyping up too much about it}

HA!

But, I definitely took time out to enjoy the day out 

after a nice workout at the gym.

Seriously, a shorts & sandals sorta' day!!

{and it's pretty nice to live only 30 min from the beach}

Blue skies & sunshine.

Gotta' love it.

oh, if you like my shirt, it's Liberty of London 

[a couple of Spring seasons ago (i think)]
