sunday sneaky sneak peek in the studio...

lovin' up the GCD chip art tools & chipboard!!

i really need the GCD pounding block but my mom worked up a nifty invention (aka basically a big block of cement *haha*) for me that worked perfectly to get the deep impressions of the butterfly design!! 

my mom heard me beating away with the GCD mallet on a thick wooden board and said "what in the world are you doing??" *haha* and then gave me her block that she pounds for pecans (aka a Southern thing *haha*) and voila!

did you know the GCD tools also work as stamps too!?

yep, talk about 2-in-1 tool!!! :)

ohhhhh yeahhhhhh!!!

i didn't try the effect on the cover of this mini but planning to play around with the metal tools as stamps in another project...actually a future "In the Studio with Wendy" video (wink wink)!!
